Eucalyptus is a treat for the senses. I adore the surreal rainbow colors of the plant, graceful patterns of its leaves, otherworldly shape of the pods, the powdery blue leaves, and the taste of eucalyptus tea. And oh, that smell! This piece was a joy to work on.

This sculpture has layers of dyed washi, hand-marbled, and pattern-stamped papers collaged in both the background and floating eucalyptus leaves. There are subtle metallics that run through the piece and catch the light from certain angles.
